"This bookstore specialises in zines and design. I was sent here from the Adidas store who recommended it as the design and architecture bookstore of Paris.I didn’t find the book I was looking for but ended up discovering this place is also a zine store with an art gallery at the back.I didn’t experience any of the comments in fact I received excellent service, the boys at the counter were very helpful. There was an exhibition at the back I checked out for Lovely Days by Matteo Verzini.10/10 will drop into this store to buy books and to check out the exhibitions when I’m next in Paris again."

"Lovely second hand bookstore with lots of books in English on a variety of topics. Books prices are usually on the first page and slightly above average. However, variety and quality of books is also above average (e.g., found a first edition of an old economics book, hardcover €15). Conditions are generally good, with some fair. Totally recommend."

"This is a review for the Red Balloon (unfortunately we didn't have time to pop into the Red Wheelbarrow and that was probably for the best since I suspect I would have spent several hours in there!). Penelope, the owner, was so kind and attentive and her recommendation for a chapter book for my eight year old daughter was spot on. I was looking for some specific American kids books as a last minute gift for a Parisian friend and I couldn't believe they had the ones I wanted in stock! The shop itself houses a cozy atmosphere that invites browsing, flipping, and picking up and putting down many (many) times. With digital life taking up more and more space it's so nice to see a smaller indie bookshop thriving. Definitely recommend!"

And the back side is someone’s handwriting to his lover.It’s postcard really touched me. The owner, that beautiful lady, read it in French and translated for me.
