"My two visits to Penninn Eymundsson while I was in Rekyjavik were splendid and I found a treasure trove of authors and poets and gift items as well as a well appointed cafe to sit with my purchases and enjoy the day. Mar, the welcoming person working the cafe, sat for her own lunch and we became fast friends and she even showed interest in my own book and I brought her a copy! I purchased books for my niece and nephew as well as Icelandic poetry and some other great works. Sat with poets and a glass of wine, and luxuriated over the floors of books! What a wonderful place!!!"
