"A very good bookstore. I particularly liked their selection of local interest books and cookbooks. Sadly, you’ll need to read French to buy 99% of the books. There are about 4 shelves of English books. The selection was decent, but oddly very heavy on classics and YA. With all of the English speakers and tourists on the Riviera I was surprised it was so limited. The prices are very competitive though and much more affordable than books in the US."

We were looking for suggestions for our toddler. The options were to trawl through loads and loads of books, but the lady there just listened to what we were looking for, and made a bunch of recommendations. Very impressed."

Comtesse de Ségur - I bought Le Général Dourakine, maybe my first from this author, albeit in another version of La Bibliothèque Rose. Bibliothèque Verte series, which I read a few years later. And Asterix, Reiser’s comics, and so much more, at A La Sorbonne - Brouillon de Culture."

"A wonderful bookstore/card shop with an excellent selection of used books, cards and beautiful artwork by Anita Martinolli. The owner, Marie, is a also a great resource for all things Nice! I could not find an item at Carrefour or Casino so she recommended a nearby Chinese bazaar, which had exactly what I needed! I highly recommend this store!!!"
