However, variety and quality of books is also above average (e.g., found a first edition of an old economics book, hardcover €15). Conditions are generally good, with some fair. Totally recommend."

"This is a review for the Red Balloon (unfortunately we didn't have time to pop into the Red Wheelbarrow and that was probably for the best since I suspect I would have spent several hours in there!). Penelope, the owner, was so kind and attentive and her recommendation for a chapter book for my eight year old daughter was spot on. I was looking for some specific American kids books as a last minute gift for a Parisian friend and I couldn't believe they had the ones I wanted in stock! The shop itself houses a cozy atmosphere that invites browsing, flipping, and picking up and putting down many (many) times. With digital life taking up more and more space it's so nice to see a smaller indie bookshop thriving. Definitely recommend!"
